“My players learn that when they respect themselves and others, they will always have fun. I’ve been compared to Mr. Rogers and Atletico’s Cholo Simeone, and I take that as a huge compliment! I look forward to a great season alongside the amazing staff and community at FC Westlake!”

Coaching experience:

  • 2018-Present: FC Westlake (Austin, TX) Director of Community Outreach and Player Development
  • 2016-2018: Griffin School (Austin, TX) Athletics Director / Soccer Coach
  • 2014-2016: FC Westlake (Austin, TX) Staff Coach

Born into an Argentine family of educators, musicians, coaches, and players, Tomas received his first soccer ball while still in the crib.

Tomas has come home. He actually began coaching with FC Westlake years ago. His passion for teaching youth through the game of soccer, led him to an opportunity to coach at Griffin School, where he later became the Athletics Director and Soccer Coach. The wealth of experience gained from working with Austin youth of all ages has him geared up for his new role with FC Westlake.

As the Director of Community Outreach and Player Development, Tomas is excited to learn and grow alongside the wonderful staff and community and believes that through youth soccer, we can help develop well-rounded people that will in turn affect positive change. With the confidence and support received on an off the pitch, he hopes his players explore and realize rich lives in many shapes and forms throughout their journeys.
