Chris grew up in Austin playing soccer for various clubs throughout the area. He attended St. Stephen's and St. Michaels where he played soccer and went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin where he received his BA in Finance and subsequent Juris Doctorate. He is currently a practicing attorney with the law firm of Wright & Greenhill, P.C. here in Austin. Chris is married to his beautiful wife Erin, and they have two children Grace and Andrew and are expecting a third child by the end of the year.
Chris began coaching soccer at the age of 17 and has been coaching for over 17 years in the Austin area. During that time he has worked for the Westlake Youth Soccer Association, Westlake Chaps Soccer Club, Austin United, and various predecessors to FC Westlake. He has also coached soccer at St. Austin, St. Francis and St. Michael's. Chris has experience coaching various boys and girls soccer teams at the Super II, Division II and recreational levels. Most of his experience has focused on coaching U-12 through U-18 select teams, and he holds an "E" License. Chris is also also a licensedUSSF and NFHS referee and has refereed hundreds of soccer games throughout the central Texas area. He is also the current referee commissioner and 3v3 & 4v4 referee coordinator for WYSA.
