Kelsey Houghton

Coach Kelsey is a proud native of Portland, Oregon - nicknames 'Soccer City, USA' for being the most soccer-crazed city in the United States.  From chanting in the Timbers Army to watching Mia Hamm play in the same stadium where she practiced youth soccer, Kelsey found passion for the game at a young age.

After moving from Portland, Kelsey played goal-keeper for the University of Cape Town (South Africa) and Whitman College.  She then acted as the Junior Varsity Coach and Goal-Keeper Coach at Coeur d'Alene High School in Idaho.

Kelsey is excited to join FC Westlake this season to share her passion with this generation of youth!
