WYSA & CASA - A Very Special Cause

Westlake Youth Soccer Association is delighted to announce a unique partnership with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) of Travis County. As a community based youth soccer program WYSA has been serving the needs of young soccer players in the Westlake area since 1984, currently under the guidance of their Director of Coaching and CASA volunteer Stephen Ferguson.

It is through this relationship that WYSA has chosen to support CASA by raising awareness in the community, advocating for more CASA volunteers and raising funds to help CASA. While the children who participate in our program every year enjoy a loving, supportive and stable life at home, we recognize and understand that other children are not so lucky. WYSA's vision for this partnership is born from a belief that every child deserves the support they need, be it on the soccer field or in the court room. As WYSA recruits hundreds of volunteers to coach our soccer teams each year, we also want to make sure that CASA achieves it's goal of providing a volunteer advocate for every child in need in Travis County.

Please join WYSA in helping to support such a wonderful cause by donating and spreading the word.

Each volunteer coach or team manager has been given an envelope for every player on the team. Please try to collect as many donations as possible before the end of the fall season to help WYSA achieve their goal of providing more advocates for children in need.
