Scott Del Rossi
Scott grew up playing soccer in South Jersey, playing club soccer for both Delran FC and the Mt. Laurel United Soccer Association. He also played for Holy Cross High School in Delran, NJ. Scott continues to play soccer today; playing in both the AMSA and the ACSA leagues here in Austin.
Scott began coaching with the Westlake Soccer Academy in 2011. He holds a USSF “E” coaching license.
Scott attended both Temple University and Philadelphia University, graduating from the later with a Bachelors of Architecture.
We asked Scott a few questions to help find out a bit more about him:
What is your favorite food?
Apples and pizza. But mostly pizza.
Who is your favorite team?
A.S. Roma and the USA Men's National Team. I've also enjoyed watching the Dynamo games in Houston.
Who is your favorite player?
Zinedine Zidane (all-time favorite) & Sergio Ramos
What is your favorite thing to do other than play and coach soccer?
Play FIFA. I also work at a great non-profit education organization, College Forward.
Where did you grow up?
What was your primary position as a soccer player?
I’ve played all over the field but I’ve always played RB/LB on any seriously competitive team.
What other sports do you play?
Nothing too competitive but I'll dabble in volleyball and kickball.
