cameron mcneil

Cameron grew up in Hastings on Hudson, New York and began playing soccer when he was five.  He first joined a premier team when he was 9 where he was coached and privately trained in the Coerver Method.  Cameron went on to play club soccer for youth PDL teams FC Westchester and Brooklyn Knights.  Lastly he played for the youth MLS team New York Red Bulls.

Cameron won the New York State Cup with FC Westchester and went to the Super Y League National Pool in his first two seasons.  He was also a member of the New York State ODP program for 5 years starting every game.

Hi most productive playing came with Hastings High School where he played in his preferred position of Center Attacking Midfield.  Over three seasons, which included winning the Sectional Championships for the first time in school history, as well as, becoming back to back League Champions, Cameron score 25 goals and recorded 27 assists in 29 games.

After taking a break from the game he started playing and giving private lessons in Austin one year ago and hasn't looked back.  Cameron is now looking forward to using his playing experience and technique to teach the next generation the "beautiful game."
