Coach Adam is like a celebrity among our players...everyone loves playing for him!

He began his professional coaching career in South Carolina in 2001 with the Aiken Soccer Club, before making the switch to the Lexington Soccer Club (SC) in 2003.

We added him to our staff in 2006 before hiring him as our full-time Director of Player Development in 2007.

Adam grew up playing club soccer in Kentucky for the Kentucky Kickers Soccer Club, Lexington F.C., & JYSA Storm. Adam played college soccer on scholarship at both Union College (Kentucky), and the University of South Carolina-Aiken.

He graduated from USC-Aiken with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and a Minor in Studio Art.

Adam holds a USSF National 'C' License, USSF National 'Youth' License.

We asked Adam a few questions to help find out a bit more about him:

Nothing beats a perfectly cooked steak.

Kristine Lilly (USA Women's National Team)

Christian Pulisic (USA Men's National Team)

What is your favorite thing to do other than play and coach soccer?
Watch Kentucky Basketball & I have a rowdy 2 year-old boy that keeps my life plenty exciting!

Where did you grow up?
Lexington, Kentucky...though you could make the case I still haven't!

What was your primary position as a soccer player?
I always thought of myself as a goal-scoring machine, but my coaches obviously didn't agree! I played mostly as a Central Midfielder, or a Center Back. I'm still pretty sure I could have scored goals though!
